Often called the archetype of German rye breads, Vollkornbrot is a moist, dense sourdough that is best enjoyed in thin slices. It's a wonderful accompaniment to smoked fish, cured meats, aged cheeses, preserves, or a hearty spread of butter.

Wrapped in plastic and refrigerated, this bread will remain fresh for up to two weeks (amazing, but true).
All orders for single loaves of bread must be received by Wednesday at 5 pm in order for bread to be ready for delivery on Friday morning.
