About this experience

What’s better than enjoying a toasted slice of Cinnamon Raisin Swirl slathered with butter? Learning to bake that particular bread (and several others) with fellow bread lovers at Journeyman Bakery!

This class will focus on sweet breads typically associated with breakfast, including: Cranberry Walnut, Brioche; Dried Apricot with Fennel, and Cinnamon Raisin Swirl. Students will learn to mix, shape and bake these breads as we explore the surprising role that sourdough starter plays in several of these recipes.

Prior bread baking experience is not required. A sourdough pizza lunch made by students is included. Participants will leave the class with all recipes, their own freshly baked breads, and a sample of Journeyman's sourdough starter.
