Michael Sellers discovered his passion for artisanal bread baking after a long career in health care communications. A resident of Peekskill for the past ten years, Michael’s love for bread is matched only by his desire to discover new ways to foster community engagement through communal baking.
Michael has studied bread baking with Jeffrey Hamelman, former Director of the King Arthur Flour Bakery in Norwich, VT; Tim Healea, owner of Little T American Bakery in Portland, OR; Ciril Hitz, bread and pastry instructor at Johnson & Wales; and farm-to-table chef Ian Knauer, host of PBS’ “The Farm."
Michael was named "Best New Bread Baker" by Westchester Magazine in their 2017 "Best of Westchester" issue. Michael hopes to open a retail location later this year.
